Berkeley Home Health provides live-in and visiting home care across the south of England, as part of the Trinity Homecare Group, supporting hundreds of families every week. It is a deeply people-driven operation, where the quality of care depends on carers, not screens, and where administrative load quietly competes for time that should go to clients.
The question was never whether to replace people with technology. It was where AI and automation could take pressure off the operation so the team could stay focused on care.
The work.
We ran an AI and automation consultancy engagement focused on the operation, not the website. We analysed the workflows behind care scheduling, rostering and carer-client matching, advised on custom build versus off-the-shelf care-management tooling, looked at optimising and integrating existing systems, and set out vendor selection and a practical, phased automation roadmap, with people kept firmly in control.
