Who we are

Mizen Studio is a West Cork based digital studio (web design and development, digital marketing and consultancy). You can reach us at info@ofmm.ie. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

We only collect what we need:

• Details you send us through our contact form or by email: your name, business, email, phone and message.
• Basic, aggregated analytics about how visitors use this site, such as pages viewed and general location. This is used to improve the site, not to identify you.
• For clients, the information needed to deliver and invoice the work we do together.

How we use it

We use your data to respond to enquiries, deliver services you have asked for, send information you have requested, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing you have not asked for.

Legal basis

We process personal data on the basis of your consent (for example, when you contact us), the performance of a contract (delivering work to clients), and our legitimate interests in running and improving the studio.

Sharing

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run our business, for example email, hosting, analytics and form handling. They only process data on our behalf and under agreement. We may disclose data where required by law.

Retention

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to deal with your request or our relationship, and client records for as long as required for legal and accounting purposes, then we delete them.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to it or request portability. To exercise any of these, email info@ofmm.ie. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
